| Cross-City ( West Coast Express part 2) |
| |
 | | This “Cross-City” is a suburban line of the English area of West Midlands. It starts from Redditch, on a single track, to join quickly themain line, with 4 tracks, and finishes to Lichfield, approximately 50 miles further. |
 | Halfway, the line passes the station of Birmingham New Street where it crosses West Coast Main Line. From where the subtitle of this add on that EuropeanBahn thus presents like the second part of this WCML. Opposite, the tracks map of the WCML |
 | So if the first part is present in your game, the line is added to form only one route whose common point will be Birmingham. It is the part appearing in the blueframework on the opposite screen |
 | | The 24 stations present between the two terminus points are present, with cities such as Longbridge, Bourneville, Aston, Chester Road, Erdington or Blake street. |
 | | The line is often very pleasant to traverse, the landscapes are neat, one skirts sometimes a pretty channel on which can see some boats and the buildings have the famous English touch, putting a little local colour in the greenery |
 | | If all the stations are represented, it is often in a minimal way, one regrets in particular the complete absence of passengers on the banks what always gives a a little ghostly aspect to the decoration
|
 | | This line is now traversed by only one category of train, the Class 323. It was difficult to offer only this one, also EuropeanBahn it supplemented extremely judiciously by other trains, in particular a class 170 turbo, one 220 Voyager, Class 390 EMU. One also finds some diesel trains, Class 47 and also a HST in delivered Network Measurement, of a beautiful quite visible yellow All these trains offer a pleasant control, very flexible, with adequate sounds |
 | | 10 varied activities allow a good approach of the line, as well as a traveller mode as freight, one among it allows even the control of the measurement train on all the line in the middle of a notable traffic. |
 | | The installation does not pose any problem, with the “serial key” present on the first page of the booklet (to be kept preciously!), it is done curiously in two stages, second consisting in joining together the two lines when it is realizable. But the add on is perfectly playable even if you do not have the first part.
|
 | | Add on available on the EuropeanBahn shop to the price of Ł21.99 , that with is not properly spoken cheap!
