With this volume 14, PROTRAIN reaches a certain maturity which one notes in the completion of the product and research expresses of the most authentic realism which is. it is true that the level of quality of the routes suggested now by our creators known as "amateurs" of the whole world is truly impressive, it becomes perilous for a trade undertaking to launch out in the development of a line without at least equalizing what is done best in freeware

One can affirm start which the bet is once again won. In first by the route covered by this volume 14: the Frankfort line - Kassel is a judicious choice, it is one of the most important lines of Germany, it often crosses landscapes enchanters, area of Hesse in particular, with marked but soft reliefs, small typical villages, some large cities like Marburg, Friedberg where one thus finds stations to measure deserving the stop.

It is to say that if, by creating an activity, you make follow your train quite closely by a traffic, it has all the chances to plug you quickly! As for the visibility of the signals, it is signed Protrain, i.e. always also bad!
The rolling stock present thus takes again the tested elements of the preceding episodes not of particular surprise, one finds Br 101, 111, 140, 143, 152, 294, 423, of the cars on two levels, a ICE, some coaches of freight necessary on a line for the traffic important freight. Their piloting is pleasant, always very soft, that accelerates well and that slows down well, accompanied by the adequate sounds. In short, of traditional, let us say, not overload of the game, at least, a fps of good quality, around the 25, generally.
As usual, of the activities well studied and carried out well are present, there is of it a good score, more rich person with a modern processor (pentium 4) because the choice is given to the moment of the selection, it is also an old Protrain tradition, which thinks of those which keep their machine a long time....
The installation starting from Cd does not pose a particular problem, not code nor of key to be returned, it is rather a good point. On the other hand, the provided handbook is very succint, no presentation of the stock nor of detailed description of the activities, there is, of a this with dimensions-there Net progress to be made, see, for example, the English add one, very exhaustive.Signalisation, it, is explained in a booklet with share
Finally, one can let oneself try, the 19.95 euros are deserved, accomplished work is important and the pleasure of leading on this line is real. No the revolution here but a quiet evolution

Salut Bernard,

 

Ah mon salaud, tu l’as donc déjŕ reçu avant moi ce PT 14 ! Au vu de tes screens, je  peux dire que je ne regrette pas ma commande.

J’ai toutefois quelques bémols ŕ ajouter :

-     Ils auraient pu prolonger le parcours jusqu’ŕ  Kassel Hbf, pour 3 kms de plus quand męme.

-          Au sujet du matériel roulant, la nouvelle BR 152 ŕ un aspect beaucoup plus flatteur que l’autre horreur de PT3 qu’on nous a refourgué depuis 4 ans sans discontinuer…Mais il y a mieux encore comme 152, j’en parlerai….Pour le reste, c’est que du réchauffé voire pire, une nouvelle BR 140 ŕ faire peur…

-          Quand au S-Bahn depuis Francfort, ils ont limité le parcours de la ligne S6 depuis Friedberg ŕ la gare souterraine de Francfort Hbf. Mais le terminus Sud de la « S6 »qui se trouve ŕ Francfort SuedBahnhof peut-ętre rejoint grâce ŕ Pro Train 7 Francfort-Nuremberg.

-          La texture de voie chez PT commence sérieusement ŕ dater, et il est temps de trouver des palliatifs qui puissent grandement améliorer l’aspect des voies qui ŕ mon avis est la partie fondamentale du décor. A voir….

Salut Franck !

Merci pour ce commentaire avisé ! On attend tous avec impatience tes impressions détaillées sur cet add-on. C'est vrai que je l'ai reçu assez vite (commandé sur target-shop dés que dispo). J'ai bien aimé cet itinéraire malgré les manques que tu mentionne ŕ juste titre, je fais mes propres activités avec du matos freeware, souvent plus agréable ŕ l'oeil !
